What exactly do I get with the Professional plan?: We configure and deploy everything needed to run your app in your AWS account: VPCs, compute (Lambda, ECS), databases, IAM policies, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring. You get a production-ready stack and full ownership from day one.
What exactly do I get with the Business plan?: Everything in the Professional plan – deployment, infrastructure, CI/CD, database, and security setup—plus ongoing monitoring, optimization, and support.
What happens if something breaks after deployment?: The stack is built with standard AWS tools, so your team can take over – or you can upgrade to Business anytime for support. Also, while we're in beta, we’ll simply try to help you out for free.
Can I tweak the build pipeline or infrastructure later?: Yes. You own the underlying AWS infrastructure, so you can extend or modify it however you like.
What access do I need to grant, and is it secure?: We ask for a GitHub token to access your repos and temporary AWS credentials to set up resources. You can revoke both immediately after deployment—nothing persists beyond setup.
Why use Aeronaut instead of writing CloudFormation or Terraform myself?: You absolutely can do it yourself – but even with LLMs expect to spend days or weeks researching, configuring, and testing. We give you a battle-tested setup that’s production-ready in minutes.
What's the difference between Aeronaut and services like Heroku or Render?: Those services host and run your app in their accounts with a monthly fee. With Aeronaut, you can pay just once for initial setup in your AWS account. If you decide to go with a subscription, you're pay for active monitoring, management, and optimization – DevOps, not just hosting.
What's the difference between Aeronaut and services like Porter?: Porter is great, but it's an ongoing subscription. With Aeronaut, you can pay just once to have your infrastructure created in your AWS account, or go monthly for active AI-based monitoring and optimization.
